Usually aged in large-format French puncheon barrels for a more subtle oak influence, the Stareye displays a velvety texture and a heightened aromatic profile. This wine is an exceptional candidate for cellaring, with an optimal drinking window of 10-12 years.

The hand-terraced vine rows have southern exposure and well-drained volcanic and sandstone soils. The property is at approximately 400 feet in elevation. Classic “Rutherford dust” character completes the profile of this limited release.
